Ander Herrera, born on August 14, 1989, is a distinguished Spanish professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Boca Juniors in the Argentine Primera División. His football journey began at Zaragoza, where he showcased his talent before making a significant move to Athletic Bilbao in 2011.
In 2014, Herrera transferred to Manchester United for a fee of thirty-six million euros, where he enjoyed a successful tenure. During his time with the club, he secured several prestigious titles, including the FA Cup, FA Community Shield, EFL Cup, and UEFA Europa League, where he was honored as man of the match in the final. His exceptional performance earned him the title of Manchester United's player of the year for the 2016–17 season.
In 2019, Herrera joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), contributing to the team's domestic quadruple and starting in the UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich in his inaugural season, despite the team suffering a narrow defeat. At PSG, he celebrated victories in Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Trophée des Champions on two occasions, along with a Coupe de la Ligue title.
