André Bergdølmo, born on October 13, 1971, is a distinguished former Norwegian football defender known for his versatility on the field. Throughout his career, he demonstrated the ability to excel in all defensive positions, although he preferred playing as a right full back, often taking up a position on the left side.
Bergdølmo's professional journey began in 1991 with Lillestrøm, where he showcased his talent before making a significant move to Rosenborg ahead of the 1997 season for a fee of seven hundred thousand kroner. His career took him across Europe, where he played in the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark from 2000 to 2007, further honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience.
After an impressive stint abroad, he returned to Norway, where he spent the final two years of his playing career at Strømsgodset. By the time he hung up his boots at the end of the 2008 season, Bergdølmo had achieved remarkable success, winning the League Championship seven times with three different clubs and earning sixty-three caps for the Norway national football team.
