Following his retirement, Greipel transitioned into a role as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental teams, including Saris Rouvy Sauerland Team and P&S Benotti. In two thousand twenty-three, he took on the prestigious position of national road coach for the German Cycling Federation, while also competing in masters cycling events for RC Schmitter Köln.
