André Pilette

André Théodore Pilette, born on 6 October 1918, was a notable Belgian racing driver who made his mark in the world of motorsport. He was the son of Théodore Pilette, a former participant in the prestigious Indy 500, which set the stage for André's own racing aspirations.

Pilette's career in Formula One began on 17 June 1951, when he made his debut in the Formula One World Championship. Over the course of his career, he participated in fourteen Grands Prix, showcasing his skills and determination on the track.
