Andrea Giani

Andrea Giani, born on April 22, 1970, is a distinguished Italian volleyball coach and former player, renowned for his remarkable contributions to the sport. Currently, he holds the position of head coach for the France national team and the Polish PlusLiga team, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. His extensive experience and strategic acumen have made him a pivotal figure in the world of volleyball.

During the 1990s, Giani achieved significant success, leading his national team to three World Championships. His versatility on the court allowed him to excel in various positions, including outside hitter, middle blocker, and even as an opposite spiker. This adaptability not only showcased his skills but also contributed to his team's overall performance.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to volleyball, Giani was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in two thousand eight. This honor reflects his dedication to the sport and his impact on future generations of players.
