Andrea Stella, born on February twenty-second, nineteen seventy-one, is an accomplished Italian engineer and motorsport executive. He has made significant strides in the world of Formula One, currently serving as the team principal of McLaren since two thousand twenty-three. Under his leadership, McLaren has celebrated remarkable success, clinching two World Constructors' Championship titles in two thousand twenty-four and two thousand twenty-five.

Stella's journey began in Orvieto, where he was raised before pursuing higher education at Sapienza University of Rome. He earned a degree in aerospace engineering followed by a doctorate in mechanical engineering, laying a solid foundation for his career in motorsport.

His professional path commenced at Ferrari in two thousand, where he initially worked as a performance engineer. He later took on the role of race engineer for notable drivers such as Kimi Räikkönen in two thousand nine and Fernando Alonso from two thousand ten to two thousand fourteen, during which Alonso finished as runner-up in the World Drivers' Championship three times.

In two thousand fifteen, Stella transitioned to McLaren, starting as head of race operations.
