Stella's journey began in Orvieto, where he was raised before pursuing higher education at Sapienza University of Rome. He earned a degree in aerospace engineering followed by a doctorate in mechanical engineering, laying a solid foundation for his career in motorsport.

His professional path commenced at Ferrari in two thousand, where he initially worked as a performance engineer.
