Andrew Cogliano

Andrew Cogliano, born on June 14, 1987, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Over the course of his career, he showcased his skills with several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), including the Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks, and Colorado Avalanche.

Notably, Cogliano made history on December 31, 2013, when he became the twentieth player in NHL history to achieve five hundred consecutive games played. Remarkably, he was only the fifth player to maintain such a streak from the very beginning of his NHL career.

His impressive streak continued, and on November 4, 2017, he celebrated his eight hundredth consecutive game, securing his place in fourth on the NHL's all-time list for consecutive games played. Unfortunately, this remarkable run came to an end at eight hundred and thirty games on January 14, 2018, when he faced a two-game suspension.

In addition to his individual accomplishments, Cogliano's career culminated in a significant achievement when he won the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 2022, marking a pinnacle in his professional journey.
