His athletic journey began to flourish at a young age, marked by his remarkable achievements at the 2004 World Junior Championships, where he clinched victories in both the long jump and the 200 meters.

Howe's ascent in the world of athletics continued as he transitioned to senior competitions. In two thousand six, he showcased his talent on the global stage by securing a bronze medal at the IAAF World Indoor Championships, followed by an impressive triumph as the European Champion later that same year.
