Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Andrew Kehoe

Andrew Kehoe, born on February 1, 1872, was an American mass murderer whose actions would leave a dark mark in history. A farmer from Michigan, Kehoe's descent into violence was fueled by personal grievances, particularly after losing an election for the position of Bath Township Clerk. This defeat ignited a deep-seated resentment that culminated in a tragic series of events.

On May 18, 1927, Kehoe committed heinous acts that would lead to the Bath School disaster. He first murdered his wife and then orchestrated a devastating attack by detonating bombs at the Bath Consolidated School. This horrific incident resulted in the deaths of forty-five individuals and left fifty-eight others injured, marking it as one of the deadliest school-related tragedies in American history.

In a final act of desperation, Kehoe took his own life near the school by detonating dynamite in his truck, which also claimed the lives of several others and caused further injuries. Prior to these events, he had set off incendiary devices at his home and on his farm, leading to the destruction of all his buildings. Andrew Kehoe's legacy is one of tragedy and loss, forever remembered as a symbol of the darkest aspects of human nature.
