Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Andrew Symonds

Andrew Symonds, born on June ninth, nineteen seventy-five, was a prominent Australian international cricketer renowned for his all-rounder capabilities. Commonly referred to as 'Roy', he made significant contributions to the Australian cricket team, playing in all three formats of the game. His prowess as a right-handed middle-order batsman, combined with his ability to bowl both medium pace and off-spin, made him a versatile player on the field.

Symonds was a vital member of two World Cup-winning squads, celebrating victories in the two thousand three and two thousand seven Cricket World Cups. His exceptional fielding skills further solidified his reputation as a key player during his career.

However, after mid-two thousand eight, Symonds faced challenges that led to his absence from the team due to disciplinary issues, including struggles with alcohol. In June two thousand nine, he was sent home from the World Twenty20, marking his third suspension within a year. Following this, his central contract was withdrawn, leading to speculation about his future in cricket.

Ultimately, Symonds announced his retirement from all forms of professional cricket in February two thousand twelve, choosing to focus on his family life. Tragically, in two thousand twenty-two, he passed away in a single-vehicle car crash at Hervey Range, near Townsville, Queensland, at the age of forty-six.
