Andrew Yeom Soo-jung, born on December fifth, nineteen forty-three, is a distinguished Korean prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as the Archbishop of Seoul from two thousand twelve until two thousand twenty-one, a pivotal role in the spiritual leadership of one of Asia's largest Catholic communities.
In addition to his responsibilities in Seoul, Yeom held the title of Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Pyongyang in North Korea, showcasing his commitment to the Catholic faith in a region where religious expression is heavily restricted.
