His career is marked by remarkable achievements, including being a pivotal member of the Serbia men's national water polo teams that clinched bronze medals at the Olympic Games in two thousand eight and two thousand twelve.

Prlainović's prowess in the pool was further showcased as he helped secure gold medals for Serbia at the two thousand sixteen and two thousand twenty Olympics.
