Andy Goram

Andy Goram, born on April thirteenth, nineteen sixty-four, in Bury, Lancashire, England, is a celebrated figure in the world of sports, known for his remarkable career as a goalkeeper in association football and as a cricketer. He began his football journey with Oldham Athletic and Hibernian, but it was during his time at Rangers in the 1990s that he truly made his mark, earning the affectionate nickname 'The Goalie'. His exceptional skills led to him being voted Rangers' greatest-ever goalkeeper in a 2001 poll among fans.

Goram's prowess extended beyond club football; he proudly represented Scotland on the international stage, earning forty-three caps. His talent was recognized as he was selected for the national squads at the nineteen eighty-six and nineteen ninety World Cups, as well as UEFA Euro tournaments in nineteen ninety-two and nineteen ninety-six.
