Andy Hurley

Andy Hurley, born on May thirty-first, nineteen eighty, is a talented American musician renowned for his role as the drummer in the iconic rock band Fall Out Boy. His musical journey began in the hardcore punk scene, where he played in various bands before joining Fall Out Boy in two thousand three. His dynamic drumming style quickly became a defining element of the band's sound.

During Fall Out Boy's hiatus in two thousand nine, Hurley explored new musical avenues by forming the heavy metal supergroup The Damned Things alongside Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman. The group released their debut album, Ironiclast, in two thousand ten but went on hiatus as members shifted their focus back to their original bands.

In two thousand twelve, Hurley joined the hardcore punk band Enabler, contributing to their debut album and participating in tours that showcased his versatility as a musician. However, the call of Fall Out Boy proved irresistible, and in February two thousand thirteen, the band announced their regrouping along with plans for a new album and tour.

Their fifth studio album, Save Rock and Roll, was released in April two thousand thirteen, followed by the EP PAX AM Days in October of the same year. The band's sixth studio album, American Beauty/American Psycho, debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 in January two thousand fifteen, solidifying Hurley's status as a key figure in contemporary rock music.
