Ángel Bossio, born on May fifth, nineteen oh five, was a distinguished Argentine football goalkeeper renowned for his remarkable agility, earning him the nickname "La maravilla elástica" or "The elastic wonder." His exceptional skills on the field made him a key player for the Argentine national team during a pivotal era in football history.

Bossio's international career was highlighted by his participation in the 1928 Olympic Games, where he contributed to the team's silver medal victory. He also played a significant role in the inaugural FIFA World Cup in nineteen thirty, where Argentina again secured a second-place finish, this time behind Uruguay. Over the course of his international career, he proudly represented Argentina in twenty-one matches from nineteen twenty-seven to nineteen thirty-five.

At the club level, Bossio began his career with Talleres de Remedios de Escalada in the 1920s. Following the professionalization of Argentine football in nineteen thirty-one, he joined the prestigious River Plate, where he continued to showcase his goalkeeping prowess.
