Angela of Foligno

Angela of Foligno, born in the year twelve forty-eight, was an influential Italian Franciscan tertiary renowned for her profound mystical insights. Her extensive writings on her spiritual revelations earned her the esteemed title of Theologorum Magistra, or 'Teacher of Theologians,' a designation first attributed to her by Maximilian Sandaeus and later referenced by Bollandus in the Acta Sanctorum.
