Angela Whyte

Angela Whyte, born on May 22, 1980, is a distinguished Canadian hurdler renowned for her remarkable achievements in track and field. A three-time Olympian, she represented Canada in the 100m hurdles at the Summer Olympics in 2004, 2008, and 2016, showcasing her exceptional talent on the world stage.

Throughout her athletic career, Angela has earned multiple medals at prestigious events such as the Pan American Games and the Commonwealth Games, solidifying her status as one of the top competitors in the 100 metres hurdles. Her collegiate career at the University of Idaho was equally impressive, where she was a four-time All-American and a five-time Big West Conference champion, setting school records in various disciplines including sprints, hurdles, jumps, multi-events, and relays.

In addition to her accomplishments at Idaho, Angela holds two Big West records in the 100m hurdles, further demonstrating her prowess in the sport. After her competitive career, she transitioned into coaching and is currently an assistant track and field coach at Washington State University, where she continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of athletes.
