Angelo G. Iacono, born on March seventeenth, nineteen sixty-five, is a prominent Canadian Liberal politician and lawyer. He made his mark in Canadian politics by being elected to represent the riding of Alfred-Pellan in the House of Commons during the federal election of two thousand fifteen.

His academic journey began at McGill University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Iacono furthered his education in law, studying civil law at the Université du Québec à Montréal and common law at the University of Ottawa. Additionally, he broadened his horizons by attending the University of Lyon in France.

Before his successful election in two thousand fifteen, Iacono was the Liberal Party's candidate in the Alfred-Pellan riding during the two thousand eleven federal election, where he finished in third place. His dedication to environmental issues was recognized when he was appointed chair of the Canadian House of Commons Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development in the forty-fifth Canadian Parliament in two thousand twenty-five.
