Recognized for her exceptional talent, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine, a distinction that was later revoked in twenty twenty-four.

Throughout her career, Ani Lorak has been celebrated as one of the most influential and popular women in Ukraine, often cited among the most beautiful women from Eastern Europe. Her rise to fame escalated after her remarkable performance of the song 'Shady Lady' at the Eurovision Song Contest in two thousand eight, where she secured second place, trailing only behind Russian singer Dima Bilan's 'Believe'.
