Anita Asante

Anita Asante, born on April twenty-seventh, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished English football coach and former player, currently serving as the first-team coach at Bristol City. With a versatile skill set, she has excelled as both a defender and midfielder throughout her career.

Asante's international career is marked by her impressive seventy-one caps for the English national team, showcasing her talent on the global stage. Notably, she was also selected to represent Great Britain in the squad for the twenty-twelve London Olympics, further solidifying her status as a prominent figure in women's football.

At the club level, Asante has played for several prestigious teams, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Aston Villa in England. Her journey also took her across the Atlantic, where she played for Saint Louis Athletica, Chicago Red Stars, Washington Freedom, and Sky Blue FC in the American Women's Professional Soccer league.
