Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Anju Dhillon

Anju Dhillon is a prominent Canadian Liberal politician who made history by being elected to represent the riding of Dorval—Lachine—LaSalle in the House of Commons of Canada during the 2015 federal election. Notably, she is the first individual of South Asian descent to be elected from the province of Quebec, marking a significant milestone in Canadian politics.

Born and raised in Montreal, Dhillon's political journey began at a young age. She started volunteering for Paul Martin's campaigns when she was just thirteen years old. Her dedication to the Liberal Party continued as she served for a decade as the vice-president (female) for youth of the federal liberal riding association in LaSalle-Émard, eventually becoming its vice-president (female).

Dhillon's academic background is equally impressive. She attended Concordia University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued a law degree at Université de Montréal, becoming the first Canadian Sikh to practice law in Quebec, further breaking barriers in her professional field.
