Ankita Raina, born on January 11, 1993, is a prominent Indian tennis player who has made significant strides in both singles and doubles formats. Since 2018, she has consistently held the title of India's number one female player, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Throughout her career, Raina has achieved remarkable success on the WTA Tour, securing one title and triumphing in one WTA 125 tournament, both in doubles. Her impressive record extends to the ITF Circuit, where she has claimed eleven singles and thirty doubles titles, establishing herself as a formidable competitor.

Raina's ascent in the world rankings began in April 2018 when she broke into the top two hundred in singles, becoming only the fifth Indian woman to reach this milestone.
