Ann Curry

Ann Curry, born on November 19, 1956, is a distinguished American journalist and television presenter with a remarkable career spanning over forty-five years. Renowned for her courageous reporting from some of the world's most perilous war zones and natural disasters, Curry has covered conflicts in Kosovo, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan, Darfur, Congo, and the Central African Republic. Her impactful reporting during the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and the 2010 Haiti earthquake showcased her commitment to humanitarian issues, with her Twitter appeal during the latter disaster recognized as one of the most powerful on the platform, significantly aiding the arrival of humanitarian aid.
