Anna Sharyhina

Anna Sharyhina, born on January first, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent Ukrainian feminist and LGBTQ rights activist. With a passion for advocating equality and social justice, she has dedicated her life to championing the rights of marginalized communities.

As a cofounder of the Sphere Women's Association, a lesbian feminist organization based in Kharkiv, Anna has played a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment for women and the LGBTQ community. Her efforts have significantly contributed to raising awareness and promoting activism in a region where such issues are often overlooked.

In addition to her work with the Sphere Women's Association, Anna is also a cofounder of Kyiv Pride, the organizing committee responsible for the Pride Parade in Kyiv. This initiative has become a vital platform for visibility and celebration of LGBTQ identities in Ukraine, showcasing the resilience and strength of the community.
