Throughout her career, Lauber has received numerous commissions from prestigious organizations, including the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Her works have also been commissioned by the Canadian Music Competitions, the Canada Council, and the Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec, showcasing her versatility and talent in the field.

In nineteen eighty-five, Lauber achieved notable recognition by winning first prize for her composition, Arabesque, at the International Guitar Competition held in Marl, Germany. Her contributions to music were further acknowledged in two thousand seven when she was featured in the Eastman School of Music's Women in Music Festival.
