Anne Samplonius, born on February eleventh, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished road cyclist who has made significant contributions to the sport. Although she was born in the United States, she has spent the majority of her life in Canada and proudly holds citizenship in both countries. Her academic journey culminated in a bachelor's degree in Recreational Administration from the University of Alberta in nineteen ninety-two.

Throughout her illustrious cycling career, Samplonius achieved remarkable feats, including a silver medal in the time trial at the nineteen ninety-four UCI Road World Championships. She also claimed victory as a double champion at the Canadian National Time Trial Championships and secured a gold medal in the time trial at the two thousand seven Pan American Games. Her dedication to representing Canada was evident as she participated in six UCI Road World Championships from two thousand to two thousand ten.

Over the course of her career, Samplonius competed in twelve World Championships before retiring from racing at the end of two thousand twelve.
