Anthony Mayweather

Anthony Mayweather, born on February twenty-first, nineteen eighty-five, is a prominent American professional wrestler and actor. Currently signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), he competes under his real name, showcasing his skills and charisma in the ring.

Mayweather's wrestling career took off in two thousand ten when he joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) as Crimson. During his tenure, he achieved an impressive four hundred seventy-day undefeated streak, a record that stood until June two thousand twelve. Following this success, he transitioned to TNA's developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he claimed the title of OVW Heavyweight Champion once and secured the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship twice.

In addition to his wrestling accolades, Mayweather served five years in the United States Army, participating in two tours of Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His journey in professional wrestling began in two thousand seven, where he initially performed under the ring name Tommy Mercer, competing in various independent promotions such as Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), NWA Main Event, and Showtime All-Star Wrestling (SAW).

After a brief hiatus, he made several returns to TNA, with his most recent appearance in April two thousand seventeen under the ring name Mayweather. Beyond his in-ring career, he is also the founder of Tried-N-True Wrestling, a promotion based in Tennessee that has maintained a loose affiliation with the NWA since autumn two thousand seventeen.
