Anthony Randolph

Anthony Erwin Randolph Jr., born on July 15, 1989, is a former professional basketball player who has made significant contributions to the sport both in the United States and internationally. Although he was born in Germany to American parents serving in the military, Randolph's family eventually moved to the United States, where he spent his formative years in Pasadena, California, before relocating to Dallas, Texas.

Randolph's basketball journey began at Woodrow Wilson High School, where he quickly established himself as a standout player. His impressive skills on the court earned him a scholarship to play for the LSU Tigers. However, after just one year in college, he decided to pursue a professional career and entered the 2008 NBA Draft, where he was selected as the fourteenth overall pick by the Golden State Warriors.

Throughout his career, Randolph showcased his talent in various leagues, including a notable stint in Europe. In 2016, he was recognized for his exceptional performance by earning a spot on the All-EuroLeague Second Team. Additionally, he represented the senior Slovenian national basketball team, contributing to their victory at the 2017 EuroBasket, further solidifying his legacy in international basketball.
