Anton Siluanov

Anton Siluanov, born on April 12, 1963, is a prominent Russian financier, politician, and economist. He has held the esteemed position of Minister of Finance since December 2011, a role that places him at the forefront of Russia's economic policy and fiscal management.

His appointment as finance minister came during a pivotal moment in Russian politics, as he succeeded Alexei Kudrin, who was dismissed by President Dmitry Medvedev following public disagreements over significant defense spending.
