Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Anton Yelchin

Anton Yelchin was a talented American actor, born on March eleventh, nineteen eighty-nine, in the Soviet Union to a Russian Jewish family. At just six months old, he immigrated to the United States with his parents, where he would eventually embark on a remarkable acting career. Yelchin began as a child actor, gaining recognition for his lead role in the mystery drama film Hearts in Atlantis in two thousand one and as a series regular on the Showtime comedy-drama Huff from two thousand four to two thousand six.

His breakthrough came with a guest appearance in a two thousand four episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, followed by his portrayal of the title character in Charlie Bartlett in two thousand seven. Yelchin's career soared in two thousand nine when he took on the iconic role of Pavel Chekov in the Star Trek reboot and Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation. He reprised his role as Chekov in the sequels Star Trek Into Darkness in two thousand thirteen and Star Trek Beyond in two thousand sixteen.

In addition to his high-profile roles, Yelchin was known for his work in independent films, starring in the romantic drama Like Crazy in two thousand eleven, the remake of Fright Night the same year, and the supernatural thriller Odd Thomas in two thousand thirteen. His versatility shone through in various genres, including the romance 5 to 7 in two thousand fourteen, the horror comedy Burying the Ex in two thousand fourteen, the neo-noir The Driftless Area in two thousand fifteen, and the horror thriller Green Room in two thousand fifteen.

As a voice actor, Yelchin lent his voice to Clumsy Smurf in the live-action Smurfs films from two thousand eleven to two thousand thirteen and starred as James Lake Jr. in the Netflix animated series Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia from two thousand sixteen to two thousand eighteen. Tragically, Yelchin's promising career was cut short when he died in a freak accident in two thousand sixteen at the age of twenty-seven, after being fatally injured by his own vehicle. His legacy continues through multiple posthumous releases, including the documentary Love, Antosha, presented by his parents.
