Arijan Ademi, born on May 29, 1991, is a distinguished professional footballer currently playing for Újpest in the Hungarian Football League. His journey in football began at a young age when he debuted for the senior squad of Šibenik on March 22, 2008, at just sixteen years old.
In June 2010, Ademi made a significant move to Dinamo Zagreb, the reigning champions of Croatia, where he would go on to become the team captain in 2017. Over the course of fourteen seasons with the club, he established himself as the most decorated player in its history, amassing an impressive total of twenty-four trophies.
Born in Croatia to Macedonian Albanian parents, Ademi initially represented Croatia at various youth levels, even making three appearances for the senior team. However, on October 9, 2014, he made his official debut for the Macedonia national team and was later selected to represent North Macedonia at UEFA Euro 2020.
Ademi's career has not been without its challenges; in 2015, he faced a four-year suspension for doping, which was later reduced to two years. Despite this setback, his contributions to football remain significant.
