Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Armando Sadiku

Armando Sadiku, born on May twenty-seventh, nineteen ninety-one, is a prominent Albanian professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for the Swiss Challenge League club Bellinzona. His football journey began with Turbina, where he spent two seasons in Albania's second tier, Kategoria e Parë, before making a significant leap to Gramozi in the Kategoria Superiore in two thousand nine. It was here that he had a breakthrough season, netting eight goals, which led to a transfer to Elbasani.

However, Sadiku's time at Elbasani was cut short due to a ban from Albanian football stemming from non-sporting behavior. This setback prompted his move to Switzerland, where he initially joined Locarno. In Switzerland, he quickly established himself as a reliable goalscorer, winning the top goalscorer award in his first full season in the two thousand eleven to twelve Swiss Challenge League.

In July two thousand twelve, he transferred to Lugano, where he continued his scoring prowess, finishing as the league's top scorer with twenty goals during the two thousand twelve to thirteen season. His career took another turn in November two thousand thirteen when he joined Zürich, but injuries and limited playing time hindered his impact. Despite these challenges, he contributed to the club's victory in the two thousand thirteen to fourteen Swiss Cup.

Sadiku's form saw a resurgence in the first half of the two thousand fifteen to sixteen season, where he scored eight goals in eighteen appearances. However, he was controversially loaned to Vaduz, where he played a crucial role in helping the team maintain their top-flight status. In January two thousand seventeen, he returned to Lugano on loan, reuniting with coach Paolo Tramezzani.

In two thousand twenty-three, after a successful period with Spanish club FC Cartagena, Sadiku joined the Indian Super League side Mohun Bagan Super Giant. On the international stage, he has made a significant impact, scoring twelve goals for the Albanian national team, making him one of the country's joint active top goalscorers. He also holds the record as the all-time top goalscorer for the Albanian under-19 and under-21 teams, with six goals in just seven appearances.
