Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, born on October third, nineteen thirty-five, was a distinguished voice actor, theatrical director, drama teacher, stage actor, film actor, and pedagogue. His journey began in Yerevan, where he was raised and first immersed in the world of acting through the academic and Russian theaters of the city. This early foundation paved the way for his move to Moscow, where he continued to hone his craft on stage.
From nineteen sixty onwards, Dzhigarkhanyan made significant contributions to Armenian cinema, appearing in numerous films that showcased his versatile talent. He gained widespread recognition in the nineteen seventies, particularly for his memorable roles in Soviet films such as 'The New Adventures of the Elusive Avengers' (nineteen sixty-eight), its sequel 'The Crown of the Russian Empire' or 'Once Again the Elusive Avengers' (nineteen seventy-one), and the acclaimed 'The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed' (nineteen seventy-nine).
