Armen Garo

Armen Garo, born on February ninth, eighteen seventy-two, was a prominent Armenian activist and politician whose influence spanned over two decades. As a leading member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, he played a crucial role in advocating for Armenian rights and sovereignty during a tumultuous period in history.

One of Garo's most notable contributions was his involvement in the occupation of the Ottoman Bank in eighteen ninety-six, a bold response to the horrific Hamidian massacres. This act of defiance not only highlighted the plight of the Armenian people but also showcased Garo's commitment to their cause.

In addition to his activism, Garo was a key figure in Operation Nemesis, a covert mission aimed at bringing to justice those responsible for the Armenian genocide through targeted assassinations.
