Aron Gunnarsson

Aron Gunnarsson, born on April 22, 1989, is a distinguished Icelandic professional footballer currently showcasing his talents at Al-Gharafa in the Qatar Stars League. Primarily operating as a central midfielder, he is known for his defensive prowess on the field.

Gunnarsson's football journey commenced at Þór Akureyri, where he laid the foundation for his career. He briefly played for Dutch club AZ before making a significant move to England's Coventry City in 2008. Over three seasons, he made one hundred thirty-three appearances and scored seven goals, establishing himself as a key player.
