Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Artur Fischer

Artur Fischer, born on December thirty-first, nineteen nineteen, in Tumlingen, was a remarkable German inventor and entrepreneur. He was the son of Georg Fischer, a village tailor, and his mother, Pauline, played a pivotal role in nurturing his mechanical talents. She encouraged his interests by setting up a workbench at home and providing him with the German equivalent of an Erector Set, which laid the foundation for his future innovations.

During the Second World War, Fischer served as an aircraft mechanic and demonstrated remarkable resilience by surviving the Battle of Stalingrad, departing on the last plane. His journey took a turn when he was captured in Italy and subsequently sent to a prisoner-of-war camp in England. This experience shaped his character and determination, which he carried into his post-war life.

Upon returning to his hometown in nineteen forty-six, Fischer began his career as an assistant at an engineering company. He utilized military scrap to create lighters and loom switches, showcasing his inventive spirit. In nineteen forty-eight, he took a significant step by founding his own company, the Fischer Group, which would later become renowned for its innovative expanding plastic wall plug.
