Darold Durard Brown Ferguson Jr., known to the world as A$AP Ferg, is a prominent American rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from Harlem, New York City. Born on October 20, 1988, he has established himself as a leading figure in the hip hop collective A$AP Mob, a group that has significantly influenced the genre and culture.

Ferg's rise to fame began with his 2012 debut single, which was later remixed into the commercial hit "Work (Remix)" in 2013. This track featured notable artists such as A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Schoolboy Q, and Trinidad James, marking Ferg's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning triple platinum certification from the RIAA. This success paved the way for his debut studio album, Trap Lord, which received critical acclaim and reached the top ten of the Billboard 200.
