Åse Kleveland

Åse Kleveland, born on March eighteenth, nineteen forty-nine, is a multifaceted Norwegian artist known for her contributions as a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and television presenter. She gained international recognition when she represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in nineteen sixty-six with her entry "Intet er nytt under solen." Her talent as a folk singer and traditional guitarist has made her a beloved figure in Norway's music scene.

In addition to her musical career, Kleveland has made significant strides in politics. She served as the Minister of Culture in Norway from nineteen ninety to nineteen ninety-six, representing the Labour Party during the Gro Harlem Brundtland administration.
