Seyed Ashkan Dejagah, born on July 5, 1986, is a distinguished Iranian former professional footballer who made his mark as a midfielder. His early career saw him representing Germany at various youth levels from 2001 to 2009, culminating in a significant achievement when he helped secure the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
Transitioning to international play, Dejagah proudly donned the Iranian national team jersey starting in 2011. His contributions were pivotal in helping Iran qualify for major tournaments, including the 2014 World Cup, the 2015 Asian Cup, and the 2018 FIFA World Cup, although he did not participate in the latter.
