Ashley Wagner

Ashley Wagner, born on May sixteenth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished American former competitive figure skater known for her remarkable achievements on the ice. She captured the silver medal at the 2016 World Championships and earned a bronze medal in the team event at the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia, where she placed seventh individually.

Wagner's illustrious career includes being a three-time U.S. national champion, winning titles in two thousand twelve, two thousand thirteen, and two thousand fifteen. Additionally, she triumphed at the 2012 Four Continents Championships and is a three-time medalist at the Grand Prix Final, securing one silver and two bronze medals. Her impressive tally of thirteen Grand Prix medals includes five gold, three silver, and five bronze.

At the junior level, Wagner showcased her talent by becoming a two-time World Junior bronze medalist in two thousand seven and two thousand nine. She also earned a silver medal at the 2006-07 Junior Grand Prix Final and claimed two gold medals in the Junior Grand Prix series, along with a bronze medal at the 2007 U.S. junior championships.

After her competitive career, Wagner transitioned to broadcasting, joining NBC as a color commentator for the 2020 European Figure Skating Championships. She continued to share her expertise by providing analysis for NBC's world feed during the 2024 U.S. Championships, collaborating with fellow figure skater and former training mate Adam Rippon.
