Autumn Peltier

Autumn Peltier, born on September twenty-seventh, two thousand four, is a prominent Anishinaabe Indigenous rights advocate hailing from the Wikwemkong First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Her commitment to environmental issues, particularly water protection, has made her a significant voice in the fight for Indigenous rights.

In two thousand eighteen, at the tender age of thirteen, Peltier made headlines when she addressed world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly.
