Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Avram Grant

Avram Grant, born on February sixth, nineteen fifty-five, is a distinguished Israeli football manager and former player, renowned for his extensive coaching career primarily in Israel. Over the years, he has achieved numerous national league and cup victories with various teams, including a notable tenure as the manager of the Israel national team for four years.

In two thousand six, Grant transitioned to England, initially taking on the role of technical director at Portsmouth. His career took a significant turn in July two thousand seven when he was appointed director of football at Chelsea. Just two months later, following José Mourinho's departure, Grant stepped into the managerial role at Chelsea. He led the team to the Champions League and League Cup finals and fiercely contested the Premier League title until the very last day of the season, although his contract was ultimately terminated.

After returning to Portsmouth as director of football in October two thousand nine, Grant was promoted to manager the following month. However, after the club faced relegation to the Football League Championship, he resigned. In June two thousand ten, he took the helm at West Ham United, a position he held until May two thousand eleven when he was dismissed following the club's relegation.

Grant's career continued with a season managing Partizan Belgrade and a stint as technical director for Thai club BEC Tero Sasana. In two thousand fourteen, he was appointed coach of the Ghana national football team, a role he held until stepping down after a semi-final defeat in the two thousand seventeen Africa Cup of Nations.

In January two thousand eighteen, Grant made a move to India, joining NorthEast United in the Indian Super League as a technical advisor, shortly after the team parted ways with head coach João de Deus due to a disappointing start to the season.
