Ayad Akhtar

Ayad Akhtar, born on October twenty-eighth, nineteen seventy, is a distinguished American playwright, novelist, and screenwriter. His work has garnered significant recognition, including the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Drama in two thousand thirteen, alongside nominations for two Tony Awards, highlighting his impact on contemporary theater.

Akhtar's plays often delve into complex themes such as the American-Muslim experience, racism, religion, economics, immigration, and identity.
