Ayisha Issa

Ayisha Issa, born on January first, nineteen fifty-three, is a talented Canadian actress and martial arts practitioner known for her dynamic roles in both English and French-language television series and films. Her notable performances include appearances in acclaimed productions such as Dark Matter, Unité 9, and Brick Mansions, showcasing her versatility and depth as an actress.

In addition to her acting career, Ayisha is a dedicated practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She has achieved remarkable success in the sport, winning at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation World Championships twice—first as a white belt in two thousand ten and again as a blue belt in two thousand fourteen. Currently holding the rank of brown belt, she previously owned a dojo in Toronto, where she shared her passion for martial arts with others.
