In two thousand two, Hari achieved significant milestones by becoming the WPKL Dutch Muay Thai champion and clinching the title at The Eight Tournament. His career reached new heights in two thousand seven when he became the K-1 Heavyweight World Champion, defeating Yusuke Fujimoto by knockout in just fifty-six seconds. He successfully defended his title twice against Doug Viney and Ray Sefo before losing it to Remy Bonjasky by disqualification in two thousand eight.
