Balakh Sher Mazari, born on July eighth, nineteen twenty-eight, was a prominent Pakistani politician who made significant contributions to the political landscape of Pakistan. He served as the Caretaker Prime Minister for a brief period of five weeks in nineteen ninety-three, following the overthrow of Nawaz Sharif's government by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan.

As the tumandar and paramount sardar of the Mazari tribe, which resides in the tristate area between Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab, Mazari held the esteemed title of 'Mir.' He was the twenty-second Sardar and the seventh Mir of the Mazari lineage, known for being one of the largest landholders in Pakistan.

His political legacy continued through his family, with his brother Sherbaz Khan Mazari also being active in politics. His son, Sardar Riaz Mehmood Khan Mazari, was elected to the National Assembly from Constituency NA-195 (Rajanpur-III) as a member of Pakistan's Tehreek-e-Insaf party during the two thousand eighteen general elections.
