Baybars II

Baybars II, known by his royal name al-Malik al-Muzaffar Rukn ad-Din Baybars aj-Jashankir al-Mansuri, was a prominent figure in the history of Egypt as the twelfth Mamluk sultan. His reign, though brief, lasted from the year one thousand three hundred and nine to one thousand three hundred and ten.

Also referred to as Abu al-Fath, Baybars II emerged during a pivotal time in the Mamluk Sultanate, a period marked by political intrigue and military challenges. His leadership was characterized by efforts to maintain the stability and integrity of the sultanate amidst external pressures.
