Béatrice Bonifassi

Béatrice Bonifassi, a talented Canadian vocalist, has made her mark in the vibrant music scene of Montreal. Known for her deep, contralto voice, which some describe as 'masculine', she has drawn comparisons to the legendary Shirley Bassey. Her versatility shines through as she effortlessly navigates various musical genres, including jazz, traditional music, blues, and electronica, performing in both English and French.

In two thousand and three, Bonifassi gained international recognition when she lent her singing talents to the title characters of the acclaimed animated film, The Triplets of Belleville (Les Triplettes de Belleville). This pivotal moment in her career showcased her unique vocal abilities to a global audience.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable artists, including composer and saxophonist François D'Amours. Additionally, she has toured and performed alongside musician Maxime Morin, also known as DJ Champion, further solidifying her presence in the music industry.
