Béatrice Lamarche, born on October first, nineteen ninety-eight, is a talented Canadian long track speed skater who has been making her mark in the sport since two thousand ten. Known for her prowess as a sprinter, she has demonstrated remarkable skill and dedication throughout her career.

As a junior athlete, Lamarche achieved significant success, becoming a national champion five times. Her competitive spirit led her to participate in the World Junior Speed Skating Championships in two thousand sixteen, two thousand seventeen, and two thousand eighteen, as well as the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating events.

Transitioning to the elite level, she made her debut in the ISU Speed Skating World Cup during the two thousand sixteen to seventeen season. Her hard work paid off when she secured a bronze medal in the one thousand metres event at the two thousand nineteen Canadian Single Distance Championships. This achievement earned her a spot representing Canada at the two thousand twenty World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships, where she finished in twenty-first place in the same event.

Béatrice comes from a family of speed skating excellence; she is the daughter of former Olympian Ben Lamarche and the niece of Olympian Marie-Pierre Lamarche, both of whom have inspired her journey in the sport.
