She is celebrated for her remarkable achievements, including holding the IBF lightweight title from April 2024 to December 2025. Ferreira's prowess in the ring was showcased when she won the gold medal at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships and at the 2021 Moscow Military World Games in the up to sixty kilograms category.

Her Olympic journey began at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she represented Brazil and secured a silver medal in the women's lightweight event, marking the best performance by a Brazilian female boxer to date. Ferreira continued to excel, returning to the Olympic stage in 2024, where she added a bronze medal to her accolades.

On April twenty-seventh, 2024, Ferreira claimed the vacant IBF female lightweight title with a technical knockout victory over Yanina del Carmen Lescano, further solidifying her status in the boxing world.
